St. Jude Thaddeus Learning Center, Inc. was established in 2003 in San Nicolas, Nabua, Camarines Sur as a small preschool with only seven students. Over the years, the school grew rapidly and evolved into a full-fledged elementary school with a team of skilled teachers and a rapidly increasing student body. The preschool department earned recognition in 2007, and the elementary department was awarded recognition from the Department of Education in 2012. 

The school was founded by Marinel Rito-Bagasala and her husband Roberto M. Bagasala Jr. with the vision of becoming one of the best private schools in the Bicol Region. The school's mission is to produce academically competitive, well-rounded, and highly motivated young learners who embrace good values and discipline and develop their talents through a child-friendly program that leads to the development of their physical, mental, emotional, social, and holistic faculties.

The school is renowned for its talented and accomplished students who consistently receive awards and accolades in academic competitions at the division, regional, national and international levels. The school's achievements include victories in Science Quiz, MTAP Challenge, PSD Brain Quest, Literary, Musical, and Dance Contests, which are held annually by the association of private schools. SJTLC is also proud to have sent scholars to the Philippine Science High School and other top-tier institutions.
